Congratulations to Rameshwair Rampersad, the winner of ASNT’s Name the Blog contest. He received a $100 Amazon gift card for his submission, ASNT Pulse.
When thinking about a name, Rampersad reflected on the purpose of a blog. “A blog can become the best instrument to showcase and interactively measure the health of the NDT industry,” he said. “It’s the best focal point for you to monitor the well-being of the industry just by keeping your finger on the pulse.”
He added, “Without such a forum, contributions would be lost in the wilderness and would not have been shared, discussed, or even networked with the wider NDT community and beyond.”
Rampersad holds Level III certifications in magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and radiography. He is the training manager at Trinidad Inspection Services Ltd., Pt. Lisas, Trinidad and Tobago.
