Interested in learning more about ASNT’s local sections or the new Virtual Section? Come mingle at the Meet Local Section Leaders (MLSL) networking session today from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET.
Lee Gimpel, a conference and meetings expert who knows how to get people talking, will lead this fun roundtable and networking event.
“Traditionally, the MLSL event is a way for members to connect in person with section leaders and regional directors. When we are face-to-face, I like nothing more than to introduce a member who may be attending conference for the first time, or who may be interested in starting a section, to a long-time leader or regional director so that they can build connections,” says ASNT’s Sections Coordinator Debbie Segor.
Segor adds that section membership is even more vital in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This event is being held with the same goal of connecting members with ASNT sections.
“Sections are in a unique position to engage with members during the pandemic. Many of our sections are holding meetings virtually, creating opportunities for peer-to-peer conversations, and technical learning. I’m so excited that we are bringing MLSL to the Annual Conference so our members can learn more about these opportunities.”
