International Chemical and Petroleum Industry Inspection Technology Conference

ICPIIT will take place in the heart of Sugar Land Town Square, a unique district full of dining and shopping options for guests.

International Chemical and Petroleum Industry Inspection Technology Conference (ICPIIT) will be bringing the chemical and petroleum industry back together again after nearly five years of missed connections and collaborations. The program will include a keynote presentation from ASNT Executive Director Neal J. Couture, CAE, on a new perspective on enhancing member value, as well as 14 technical sessions on topics such as downstream refineries, midstream pipelines, shipping and terminals, upstream oil and gas production, chemical plants, construction, and training, qualifications, and certifications. ICPIIT will take place 16–18 March at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square in Sugar Land, Texas. This conference is for those in the oil and gas community who want to network and learn the latest advances in inspection and provides a forum for the exchange of theoretical, practical, and scientific information.

ICPIIT will take place approximately 15 miles from southwest Houston at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square. The 2021 Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Hotel has 26 765 ft2 (2487 m2) of event space, 25 event rooms, 13 breakout rooms, and one of the largest ballrooms in Houston at 15 500 ft2 (1440 m2). Featured amenities include award-winning restaurant The Burning Pear, a Starbucks® with an outdoor patio, fitness center, outdoor pool, business center, convenience store, dry cleaning services, 24-hour room service, and much more. Located in the heart of Sugar Land Town Square, the venue is surrounded by a unique district containing 223 000 ft2 (20 717 m2) of dining and shopping options for guests to enjoy as soon as they step outside the building, as well as an expansive central plaza for concerts, festivals, and other performances.

Digital Imaging for NDT

Join ASNT from 26–28 April at the Westin Westminster in Denver, Colorado, for 2.5 days of Digital Imaging for NDT. Technical presentation topics include additive manufacturing, computed tomography, composites, and more. Digital Imaging will also have a trade show with 35+ exhibitors as well as countless networking opportunities. Digital Imaging is for suppliers and users of digital and radiographic imaging and emphasizes the critical role and challenges of NDT for new construction and in-service inspection.

The Westin Westminster was recently renovated in May 2018 and is located 15 minutes from Denver and Boulder, Colorado. Guests will find nearby shopping at the 16th Street Mall and Pearl Street Mall, as well as ample opportunities for outdoor activities. The venue consists of more than 76 000 ft2 (7061 m2) of meeting space and six outdoor event areas. Guests can expect breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains and park views from each guest room. Featured amenities include a fitness studio and spa room, indoor heated pool, business center, convenience store, and gift shop, as well as the western Pueblo–inspired Kachina Southwestern Grill restaurant.

30th Research Symposium

The re-envisioned Research Symposium will be held in the lively city of St. Louis from 20–23 June.

Previously held in the spring of each year, the Research Symposium is now moving to summer. The 30th Research Symposium will take place from 20–23 June at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac in St. Louis, Missouri. The re-envisioned symposium will be celebrating 30 years with exciting keynotes, featured speakers, a student poster competition, and a plethora of networking opportunities. The program will also include a new preconference workshop day of Tutorials, which are extended (50–60 min) presentations intended to focus on fundamental issues within nondestructive evaluation (NDE) (10–20 minutes will be allocated to each Tutorial for Q&A). The Research Symposium provides a platform for exchanging information on emerging, groundbreaking, and trending research in the field of NDE.

With 29 373 ft2 (2728 m2) of event space—in which one of the largest room setups is 10 032 ft2 (932 m2), 13 meeting rooms, and 263 guest rooms, the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac is an ideal location for the 30th Research Symposium. Some well-known areas of St. Louis such as the Missouri Botanical Garden, Busch Stadium, and the Gateway Arch are less than 20 minutes away. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, airport shuttle, outdoor pool, fitness center, room service, business center, and more. 7th US-Japan NDT Symposium

Guests can expect breathtaking views while attending the 7th US-Japan NDT Symposium in Waikoloa, Hawaii.

ASNT and the Japanese Society for Non-Destructive Inspection are coming together to offer a unique joint-society symposium that fosters interactions among researchers, scientists, engineers, and practitioners from the United States and Japan, and provides the opportunity to exchange technical information, network with influencers around the globe, and summarize current and emerging capabilities in NDE. The US-Japan NDT Symposium will take place from 23–26 August at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Waikoloa, Hawaii. This five-day event will include a welcome reception, four days of technical presentations, keynotes, and a dinner banquet.

The location of the US-Japan NDT Symposium, Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, is sure to take one’s breath away. Located on the Big Island of Hawaii, guests will truly feel like they are on a getaway trip at this beachfront venue. The resort has 14 991 ft2 (1393 m2) of event space, 10 event rooms, 10 breakout rooms, and two ballrooms. Featured amenities include a spa, on-site golf, outdoor pool, hot tub, beach access, scuba, tennis, watercraft rental, business center, gift shop, and more.
