ASNT is constantly striving to improve the experience for members and offer new programs and resources, and with so much going on, it’s important to stay informed. ASNT’s Membership Mondays are designed for current and prospective members alike to learn about the programs, resources, and opportunities available through ASNT membership.
Membership Mondays are virtual gatherings that are held on the last Monday of every month. There are two sessions held each Monday, one at 7:00 a.m. (ET) and another at 4:00 p.m. (ET). The sessions are 30 minutes long and are free to attend, though attendees must register to reserve their seat.
The first part of the virtual gathering features a presentation by ASNT staff on new member programs or updates to existing member programs. This presentation also includes a demonstration on unlocking member-only content and resources. The rest of the session is an open Q&A session where attendees can ask ASNT staff about membership benefits, career advancement opportunities, ways to get involved with the Society, or anything else related to ASNT.
“I believe one of our recent attendees said it best: Membership Mondays are a ‘good opportunity to get unknown information and to meet ASNT personnel,’” said Pat White, ASNT Membership Specialist.
Attendees are encouraged to engage throughout the session by responding to poll questions and interacting in the meeting “chat,” which is open throughout the meeting. Attendees can ask questions in the chat or directly on camera or microphone during the Q&A session. After the event, attendees receive an email with important links from the discussion and a survey where they can provide feedback.
