Did you miss out on any of ASNT’s conferences and events in 2021? Take a look back at many of the best presentations from these events at REWIND 2021, taking place 2 March 2022. This annual event is offered free to members as a way of saying thanks for being part of ASNT. Non-members are also welcome to register for the same price of ASNT membership, making this the perfect time to join for anyone interested in this event.

REWIND 2021 is an opportunity to catch up on the latest in NDT methods and technology presented throughout ASNT’s events in the past year. Selections from different ASNT conferences will be streamed digitally, including ASNT 2021: The Annual Conference, International Symposium on Nondestructive Characterization of Materials, NDT of Composites, Digital Imaging for NDT, and the ASNT Research Symposium.

This year’s program will also give attendees the opportunity to learn about important Society updates from the past year and hear about what’s in development for 2022. ASNT staff will broadcast live from the International Service Center in between presentations with news updates and interviews from the different departments of ASNT.

During ASNT Rewind, staff will broadcast from the ISC between presentations.

“REWIND is ASNT’s newest conference, and it provides us with a way to share some of the great presentations from our other events with a new audience, many of whom cannot attend those events,” said Barry Schieferstein, ASNT Director, Learning and Events.

REWIND was first held in 2020, and was ASNT’s second largest virtual event, hosting attendees from around the globe. Registered attendees will have two opportunities to view the conference content. It will first stream on 2 March from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (ET), with live broadcasts from the International Service Center alongside recorded presentations from past ASNT conferences. This broadcast will re-air beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on 3 March, extending into 2:30 a.m. ET on 3 March. This will give attendees from all over the world the chance to catch presentations during either airing, whenever most convenient to them. (Please note that the broadcast will only be available during these scheduled times.)

The “rewound” sessions will also generate contact hours. Each of the presentations will generate the same contact hours originally offered at the events where they were presented. Shortly after the event, registered attendees will receive an email link to an online form to register their attendance, which will be converted to recertification points. (The informational sessions from the ISC do not generate contact hours.)
